Chanz Simmons, better known by his stage name Admiral is an American Emcee. Hailing from the Bronx, New York, he is an independent artist.
Started making music professionally in 2009, delivering his first Single in 2009, Admiral has been continually putting out tracks from that point onward. With his main genre of music being Hip-hop.
Chanz had a few different names growing up but landed on Admiral as it fit his personality and any style the best. Ever since then all his tracks are released under his Stage name.
Admiral describes his music as Authentic, Real Rap, and kind of a throwback. Always developing sounds and relatable lyrics make him stand out.
His creative process is strange, he gets inspiration from everything around him. When he really wants to lock down and write, likes to throw in some old classic mixtapes and albums, that really get him going.
While Admiral was always a fan of the culture, music wasn’t his first love. He played sports growing up and just played around with rap. There were a lot of rappers in his hood, so he just used to jump into ciphers every now and then. One day his cousin brought him over to his home studio to sit in on a session he had with a group he was working with. Watching the artist’s record really got Admiral’s interest. He started writing verses and songs and the rest is history.
His family and friends are a huge inspiration for his music career. People can expect a bunch of new music, content, videos, and business ventures, and he will keep working hard to reach the stage that few do.
